CONNETQUOT TEACHERS ASSOCIATION PRESIDENT
ATTENDS RETIREE LUNCHEON

CTA President Tony Felicio, Jr., along with CRTA President Peter Leis.

On Wednesday, December 11, 2013, Connetquot Teachers Association President, Tony Felicio, Jr. and Insurance Ombudsperson, Pat Troniar attended the Connetquot Retired Teachers Association luncheon held at Captain Bill’s. Tony spoke with the retirees about current issues in education, the recent activities of the Association and thanked Patty Goff and Virginia Spiess for their assistance with the Firehouse Breakfasts.

Pat provided those in attendance with updated information regarding prescription cards as well as a contact sheet with her contact information and the contact information for retirees to call when necessary.

Tony stated, “It is always a pleasure seeing friends and colleagues from past years and being able to share stories of past and present with them. It is always important for us, the active members, to understand and recognize the many sacrifices those who came before us had to make so that we could enjoy the many benefits of our profession today. Nothing has ever just been given to our profession. We have always had to and continue to have to fight for it.”
